My mom just passed along a wood wallphone. There is a plate on the phone that says "The Dean Electric Co. telephone apparatus Elyria Ohio USA" with 260 engraved on the wood on the bottom center. I don't know much about phones, and couldn't find anything in my cursory search on the web but looks a lot like the Northern Electric Model 317.

Can anyone clue me in on where I can find more information on this phone?

Cleaning out telephone parts. When I was actively collecting I collected only Western Electric. I would like to find someone in the San Jose area who is still collecting. [408]309-3113

I just bought and fixed up a Kellogg "red bar" 1000 series, and I love it! What a great hobby.
