I have a 40s black rotary with 5H on the dial plate. Does it have any value beyond $100? Also have a donut phone in chocolate brown. Same question. Thanks :!thinking:

I have a Model 790071L Stromberg-Carlson Portable Single Line Telephone fully restores and in beautiful condition.
Everything works - transmit and receive - good audio as well as originally manufactured. What is it worth?

I just bought a Candlestick dial phone at an Estate sale in Greenville, MI. The wire to the ear piece looked liked it had broken off years ago. I was able to re-connect the ear piece and hook the unit up to my phone line and got a dial tone. I cleaned out the "voice receiver" and reinstalled it but no voice came through. Dialing the rotary dial didn't change the line from the dial tone. I probably need new parts and/or wiring to make it functional. I will continue to pursue a facility that can fix this. No return call from the place I left a message with yesterday. I imagine it is a part time venture so they may not return calls that quickly. Since my email will be hidden, you can call my home number if you know a place: (269) 385-8972 Still have an answering machine. Thanks, Robert J. Piellusch
